Andonios Diner in Philadelphia

I love this place. I started coming here because of my husband. I love their chopped steak, steak cut fries and their salmon salad. Breakfast here is also great.

Fantastic portions at a low price. Tasty food and highly friendly wait staff. Children's menu is great and the place was very kid friendly. I think this is a new favorite. Didn't even have to wait at 8:00 to be seated. The lox and cream cheese bagel came out on a big plate of the fixings. It was fun to make two open face sandwiches out of it and snack on the leftovers.

Consistent quality food. Good value for the money. Nice local diner.

Laz the owner is very nice and friendly, as are most of the staff. Most of the food is pretty good. Large portions. Great prices. It gets really crowded. The seats in the booths could stand to be replaced again. That's only because they get a lot of use. I wish they'd expand into the vacant building next door.

Food is all great and SUCH a great value. I usually leave with enough leftovers for two more meals and all the staff and owners are super sweet hardworking people.

Great food at a great price! I've ordered the bacon cheese burger platter twice and the lettuce, tomato, and onion are big and fresh! It comes with fries, onion rings, and cole slaw and everything is delicious! It's a huge portion that lasts 2 meals!

Normally, I don't eat dinner at diners but Andonios came highly recommended. And rightfully so. First of all, the price for dinner runs from $7.99 to $15. This includes soup, salad bar, entree, one vegetable, dessert, and either coffee or tea. The meals are made with fresh ingredients. I had Veal Scallopine over linguine and the tomatoes, peppers, and mushrooms were all fresh, nothing canned here. The choice for soup was chicken rice or mushroom barley. I had the mushroom barley and it was delicious, as was the veal dish. Everyone I was with raved about their food. My entire dinner, including rice pudding with whipped cream, came to $9.71. You can't beat that!

Ordered a sandwich get home and it’s a completely different thing. Called the restaurant and the staff were completely unapologetic waste of time and money!!

The food is excellent and the service is outstanding. It's very small and quaint and sometimes you may have to wait a little but it's worth it. The portions are big so there is always some to take home. Definitely worth waiting for. Andonios is worth more than 5 stars to me. A++++

This was my first time at this very popular place. Got there around 9:39 am on Wednesday & place was packed. My friend & I had a basic breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, sausage & bread. Food was prepared quickly & to perfection. Total bill was 8.12 for 2 people including tax!!! I definitely will be back here

This is a really homey, cozy, neat diner. The staff is really nice, the food is great and the prices are unbeatable. We will most definitely return!

They people here are nice. The atmosphere is lively and full of life. The service was quick and to the point. The only problems include the food. The mozzarella sticks were appalling, being under cooked on the inside and over cooked on the outside. What they do not on target are the breakfast menu items. Some of the best french toast I've had in a long time just to be honest. The dinner items like a simple burger and fries were also horrible. They had to take multiple items off of the check because of dissatisfaction. Although they reduced the price, they shouldn't have to. Its worth the trip for a quick bite to eat, but not for a full-length dining experience. Mediocre at best.

A nice little diner is a Hidden Gem. It doesn't track much views from the outside itself as some fancy place. but it has more of a family style setting that has some great food. Also within 15 minutes of waiting I had my food ready. The breakfast is on point with this place.

I love diners. I love a real diner with that old look and feel. My favorite food is breakfast food. That being said, I know what I'm talking about. I'm a pancake connoisseur. If you need to put syrup on your pancakes, then their not really good pancakes. At Andonios, I don't put syrup on my pancakes! They melt in your mouth! The food is delicious, the coffee is hot and fresh, the wonderful people that work there are nice and respectful, and I feel like I stole something after I pay. You know why? Because the prices are a steal dang it!!! I just tip my waiter/waitress more. I approve of this legit DINER! Also, the Pic shows a partially eaten pancake, excuse the rudeness, but I couldn't wait. 😊

Good food, the waitress, a little careless. How many times are you going to bring me coffee with dish half full of what you poured. I am not wearing it.

Food was awesome, very small wait. Server was friendly. The atmosphere of this establishment wasn’t what I expected. What I can say is racism does exist with staff and customers. The aura was definitely there. Such a shame !

Love their friendly atmosphere! The best cheesesteaks in Philly , comes with fries, coleslaw, picle and 2 onion rings, lettuce and tomato!! It is just delish!

The food is very good and reasonable. Sometimes there is a wait for seating because it is a popular neighborhood eating place. The only negative comment that I have is the restrooms are awful. The stalls are so tiny and the bathrooms are old. Some renovation is badly needed.

The wait staff is top notch but the waiting area is too small. It felt congested. I had a western omelet and home fries and it was Bland. I used ketchup and I never use ketchup but it was the only way to get flavor.

I like this little diner great food with reasonable prices.BUT ...2 waitresses are unreal with rudeness and no manners.Wish they had survey inside Dont like to tattle to owner ...guess Im the only one that sees that.Other waitresses are good.Will have to ask to move next time because i still want to enjoy my breakfast there.

Good food they have good deals but get there a he before they close or you may not get in they start cleaning a he before they close and the people are friendly.

Love Andonio's diner! Usually go on weekends at different times of the morning. Does not matter how busy they are, you are always greeted with a smile and excellent service! Food is fresh and nicely presented. Always a Good place to Eat!

My daughter, whom I’ve taken to this restaurant since she was 6 months old, now 16 yrs old, insisted I do pickup for the blueberry waffle during this pandemic.I have eaten everything on their menu. Great atmosphere, yummy food, friendly wait service, and the owner Laz is a superb restauranteur, one friendly, smart cookie. 5 Stars.

The best place all around to visit and be greated by the friendliest of people. To be seated at a comfy booth, and soon to be greated by the delicious food! I wish I could give 100 stars, yet 5 stars for the greatest dinner, thank you for the amazing food!

Weight staff was EXCELLENT! Food was good and a lot was given. The lunch special included a cup of soup, salad bar, a non-soda beverage, my lunch choice and ice cream or pudding for just $7.50. An awesome deal!

This is a 5 star place. Food is always good. Wait staff is spectacular. Always fast.and friendly. Quality food and big variety always. Prices are not to be found anywhere. Only place in north east you can eat for 20.00 for 2 people.Come try it.

Great food, amazing service. I'd say the only negative would be since there is a lot of elderly that eat there, every once in a while there is a smell that floats around like someone went to the bathroom on their self.
